THERAPY FOR PARENTS LIVING IN CALIFORNIA

Do you ever feel frustrated with your children, or notice that parenting has begun to feel heavier than you expected? Many parents arrive at therapy feeling worn down, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward—especially when the strategies that once worked no longer seem effective. If you and your spouse struggle to get on the same page, it can add another layer of discouragement and self-doubt. You are not alone in this, and support can make a meaningful difference.

I provide online therapy for parents living in California, working with families who want thoughtful, practical support rather than quick fixes. Often, the challenges parents face are connected to earlier experiences, stress patterns, or unhealed emotional responses that get activated under pressure. In therapy, we take time to understand these roots so change feels grounded, not forced.

Many parents feel overwhelmed by the constant stream of advice—from books, podcasts, social media, and well-meaning voices. Therapy offers a quieter, more personalized space to focus on what actually fits your family. Together, we’ll work on staying emotionally steady during difficult moments, responding rather than reacting, and developing parenting strategies that align with your values and real life.

Some parents I work with come from LDS families or value-driven backgrounds, where faith, responsibility, and family connection are deeply important. Others do not. Either way, therapy is not about following a prescribed parenting style—it’s about strengthening your capacity to parent with clarity, confidence, and intention.

Parenting doesn’t have to feel like constant stress or self-criticism. With the right support, it can become more connected, meaningful, and sustainable. I’d be honored to work alongside you as you bring more steadiness and joy back into your home.
