I'm Stephanie. Nice to meet you.

Choosing therapy is a courageous step, and I’m honored you’re considering it. Life within families—especially when faith, relationships, and big transitions are involved—can feel overwhelming at times. You don’t have to navigate it alone. Therapy is a place to find clarity, peace, and lasting tools to help you and your loved ones thrive.

Why Clients Work With Me
I bring over 18 years of experience helping families, parents, teens, and young adults from California build stronger bonds and find greater satisfaction in their relationships. I specialize in LDS family dynamics, anxiety, trauma, parenting, relationships, ADHD, and life transitions, and also integrate design and environmental psychology to support well-being in practical, real-world ways.

Throughout my career, I’ve taught parenting classes, facilitated therapy groups for children and teens, and collaborated on innovative, non-traditional therapy approaches, including Project Surf Camp, Sports Psychology, and Equine-Assisted Therapy. I also support clients navigating loss, infertility, generational-family challenges, medical trauma, religious crisis, and other life transitions.

My Approach
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I draw from a variety of proven approaches (such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, Design Psychology, and mindfulness) and tailor our work to your unique needs, goals, and personality. My goal is to help you develop resilience and lasting change through practical, weekly experiments that fit your life and equip you to live more fully, the way you’ve always wanted.

Faith-Informed SupportBecause I was raised and live within the LDS faith, I bring lived cultural understanding to my work as an online LDS therapist serving clients in California. I understand the values, family dynamics, and experiences that often shape LDS individuals and families, which allows therapy to feel more respectful, efficient, and relevant from the start.
Therapy with me does not need to focus on religion or faith unless that is genuinely part of what you want to explore. For some clients, faith is central; for others, it is simply part of their background. Many people seek an LDS-informed therapist in California because cultural familiarity reduces the need to explain nuances and helps the work move forward more smoothly—without making therapy spiritual, directive, or church-focused.
I also warmly support individuals who are questioning, transitioning away from the LDS faith, or no longer practicing. Whether faith feels stabilizing, complicated, distant, or unresolved, therapy remains a space where your experience is respected and your goals guide the work.

An Investment in What Matters Most
Therapy with me is more than a weekly conversation—it’s a high-level investment in your well-being, your family, and your future. I bring extensive training, ongoing professional development, and a deep commitment to excellence, so that every session provides value, growth, and tools you can carry with you for years to come.

A Commitment to Growth and Authentic Living
I work best with people who are ready to try new things, call on their support system, and commit to lasting change. I am passionate about helping families and individuals thrive and live authentic, satisfying lives.
